RECOMMENDED PERSONAL PACKING LIST
It is the responsibility of each individual to prepare appropriately for a campout, thoughTroops will want to coach and follow-up with novice campers to ensure that they will have a safe experience. Some of the suggestions below may not be available to a new camper, but could be borrowed from friends or family. They would be a good investment for those who expect to camp often.

Folding Camp Chairs
SWAPS
"SWAPS" stands for "Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere" and is a popular part of Camporee. Girls who want to participate decide to make a set amount of small tokens or keepsakes to trade with other girls on Saturday afternoon. The internet and Pinterest abound with ideas and inspiration.
Troop Spirit
Each Troop will have their own campsite to decorate however they wish with displays of Troop Spirit and identity. It's also fun to see Troops that choose to wear special spirit shirts and helps make them more easily identifiable in a crowd!
